what I read and loved on the internet this week

well, in the last day I have learned more about British history than I did in 25 plus years of American education. But i’ve also been reading a lot of good good writing and interviews that I thought I would share.

1. Missed this when it came out, but this oral history of Superbad is so delightful and nostalgic.

2. Rachel Syme, who I adore, interviewed Rosie O’Donnell who is apparently a Bowie superfan. I LOVE IT.

3. A stunning profile of one of my favorite writers/academics, Dorothy Roberts.

5. Author Emma Straub’s long thread about the her father, horror writer, Peter Straub, is beautiful.

6. This is older but Fetterman saying “to be worried about those ads is to say, ‘I’ll let you die in prison because of my own political insecurity'" is beautiful
